The beautiful country we care about most, with an average height of 176.94 (male) and 163.31 (female), ranks 47th in the world. Neighboring South Korea, men and women are 175.52/163.23cm respectively, ranking 67th, and Japan is 172.06/158.5 respectively, ranking 112th.

In China, the average height of men is 175.66 and that of women is 163.46, ranking 64th in the world! Has leapt to the first height country in East Asia!

From the perspective of the height changes of Chinese people in recent decades, there are five "length codes" hidden in them, which proves that length is not completely determined by heredity. Today, let's break down these five codes in detail:

Many parents will say, "Oh!"! How tall a child can grow depends on God's will. Heredity is there. What can grow tall is tall, and what can not grow tall is not tall!

Does this sound reasonable? But this is not the case at all. According to the research results of domestic experts in the field of growth and development, Professor Jiang Jingxiong, Shanghai Medical University and other authorities, genetics only affects 70% of the height, or even lower!

Moreover, now when you observe the children around you, some children's parents are not tall, but they grow to more than 1.8m, which fully proves that heredity cannot completely determine the final height. The influence of the acquired environment on height is more important!

Therefore, if you want your child to grow taller and surpass genetics, please believe in science: management after tomorrow can help achieve ideal height.

Don't fully believe in the idea of "heredity determines height". Without any intervention, you will simply "watch the sky and eat". This idea often fails to achieve good results.

The environment mentioned here is actually the "acquired management" mentioned above, which includes five aspects: diet management, sleep management, emotional management, physical fitness management, and sports management. There is no claim that one is weaker than the other in these five aspects. If you know that the child's heredity is very poor, but don't care about these five aspects, I'm afraid the child's height is really not good.

In terms of diet, the basic requirement is to supplement meat, eggs and milk, nutrients comprehensively, one egg, two meat and 400 ml of milk a day, and other supplements such as calcium, iron, zinc, vitamins, amino acids, etc. in full and on time.

In terms of sleep, only three points are emphasized: sleep enough, sleep well and sleep early. These three aspects are directly related to the physical state, mental state and the amount of growth hormone secretion, and have a great impact on growth height!

In terms of mood, just one point: happy and relaxed. In traditional Chinese medicine, mood is regulated by the liver, and the liver is the master of catharsis. People who are in too bad mood often have poor liver, which will affect the whole physical condition, and will also grow bad, especially girls.

In terms of physique, the most important thing is the spleen and stomach, which is the basis of acquired life. The growth of qi and blood and the growth of muscle and bone depend on the transportation and absorption of nutrition by the spleen and stomach. Compare a person to a car. The spleen and stomach is the fuel tank. The fuel delivery and transmission of the fuel tank are not good, the car can not run smoothly, and the height is not smooth.

In sports, we should ensure that we exercise once a day for more than 30 minutes each time. We should choose some stretching, running and jumping sports, such as yoga, basketball, and so on. We can play whatever we like, which is also helpful for emotional management.

Bone age is a commonplace, but there are still unknown friends.

The bone age is not consistent with the age. Some people are 10 years old, and the bone age is only 9 years old. Some people are 9 years old, but the bone age is 10 years old. It is not the same as the fixed change of age year by year. It may not move this year, and it may grow by 2 years next year.

This bone age is the key code to accurately judge whether a child's height is up to standard now and how high he can grow in the future!

Therefore, it is important to stress the importance of monitoring bone age. For children aged 3 to pre-puberty, bone age can be measured once a year. For adolescent children, bone age can be measured once every six months to prevent the emergence of fast-developing puberty.

As for puberty, boys start at the age of 11 and a half, and girls start at the age of 9 and a half.

This code is the "most important link" in height management. The quality of the physique almost determines whether the child can grow to the genetic level and achieve the ideal height.

Over the past 10 years in clinical practice, I have received numerous children whose height is not up to the standard. In addition to a few special cases such as genetic diseases, more than 95% of them are stunted due to poor physique, and they are concentrated on "weakness of the spleen and stomach".

The spleen and stomach are acquired. Children are born with weak spleen and stomach. A certain food inadvertently fed by parents may cause him to accumulate food, constipation, vomiting, etc., especially when the elderly bring children, it is just one word: eat! Eat, eat and run to the hospital all day!

Therefore, in terms of physical fitness, it is OK to focus on the spleen and stomach. Children with poor spleen and stomach will generally have these characteristics: blue eyelids, yellow face, white spots on the face, white, yellow and thick tongue coating, picky anorexia, restless sleep, night sweating and spontaneous sweating, etc. If it is difficult to distinguish, tell me to help you distinguish.

This kind of children are also seen many times, but it does not refer to extreme genetic diseases such as Down's syndrome and Turner's syndrome, but food intolerance, abnormal nail function, precocious puberty, and so on. As mentioned in the previous article on precocious puberty, children grow tall and fast if they have not seen the diagram of boys' development order!

Food intolerance accounts for a large proportion. Don't you see that we northerners like to eat noodles, scrambled eggs with tomatoes and other foods. Some children can't eat them. They will become constipation and diarrhea as soon as they eat them! At this time, you should consider whether the food is intolerable, and go to have a check. If so, give up eating this ingredient, or find a substitute for the child to eat. This can ensure the child's health, comprehensive nutrition intake, and good physique and height!
